The Harlem Quartet

This New York-based string ensemble has become famous for diversifying classical music, particularly by playing the works of minority composers. The group performed at the White House in 2009, and its recent collaboration with Chick Corea and Gary Burton won multiple Grammy Awards. The quartet will bring a program of both classical and jazz to Maverick.
