The Hero’s Journey

Theatre on the Road and local playwright Carol Elkins will stage her original musical, The Hero’s Journey, at Arts at the Chocolate Factory in Red Hook. The plot concerns a bean who wants to be great. The Wizard convinces her that she must make her way to Phoebe’s brain, and that means to be EATEN! He guides her through, as she sings and dances with the ghoulish organs of Phoebe’s digestive tract to the ultimate reward: Phoebe’s brain.
