The Knights Orchestra Presents: Caramoor with Pekka Kuusisto

Join the Knights Orchestra with Pekka Kuusisto at Caramoor on Friday, July 30, from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm for the New York Premiere of Nico Muhly’s concerto for violin and string orchestra, Shrink, featuring virtuoso violinist Pekka Kuusisto. Paired with Muhly’s concerto are Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, a staple of The Knights repertoire; Jessie Montgomery’s Starburst; and Beethoven’s “Serioso” String Quartet, Op. 95. At 7:00pm there will be a pre-concert conversation with Nico Muhly, Pekka Kuusisto, and Eric Jacobsen.
