To commemorate the 50 years since 1968, the tumultuous year in American society which laid the groundwork for today’s political system and defined a generation, Marist is offering a four-part series of guest lecturers with unique perspectives on that year. Speaker Bob Herbert is former Op-Ed columnist for The New York Times, syndicated columnist, former national correspondent for NBC, and writer and producer of film "Against All Odds: The Fight for A Black Middle Class."
