To commemorate the 50 years since 1968, the tumultuous year in American society which laid the groundwork for today’s political system and defined a generation, Marist is offering a four-part series of guest lecturers with unique perspectives on that year. The first speaker is E.J. Dionne, Jr., columnist for The Washington Post, senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, and author of One Nations After Trump: A Guide for the Perplexed, the Disillusioned, the Desperate, and the Not-Yet-Deported.
