The Philadelphia Orchestra – Rite of Spring
August 17, 6pm, at SPAC

Home for their 47th year, join the The Philadelphia Orchestra in SPAC’s beautiful setting for Rite of Spring!  You won’t want to miss conductor Gianandrea Noseda and pianist, Jonathan Biss performing Borodin’s Overture to Igor, Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4, and Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring.  Kids come free thanks to GE and all students are only $10 on the lawn thanks to Citizens Bank. Don’t forget to join us for Celebration of an Artist night on the lawn starting at 6PM. Stroll SPAC’s lawns during the interactive pre-show event and experience first-hand original art as it takes shape. Inspired by their surroundings and in anticipation for breathtaking music, artists from around the northeast set up easels and create magic. Learn more about the performance and purchase tickets at www.spac.org.
