The Pocket Perkins is a unique anthology of brief passages from the 50 year career of an American original. Essays, reviews, literary criticism, memoirs, letters, fiction, journal entries, as well as new poems and aphorisms reveal Michael Perkins as a writer, walker (co-author of Walking Woodstock), pagan, poet, philosopher, flaneur, provocateur, libertarian, and libertine. Hosted by Will Nixon, this literary event features guest readers and musicians: Mikhail Horowitz, Matthew Spireng, David Aston Reese, Nina Shengold, Joshua Coben, William Markle, Jacqui Lofaro, Deborah Kooperstein, and Elli Michaels.
