Ken Holland, a Pushcart Prize nominee, has had poetry and prose published in thirty-plus literary journals, most recently in Southwest Review, Texas Review and Confrontation, with poetry forthcoming in The Comstock Review. He has placed as a finalist or winner in several writing contests*. Even so, he’s gotten to where he almost enjoys the many rejections he gets. Were he ever to retire, he’d spend his mornings reading, his afternoons writing, and his evenings pulling corks out of wine bottles. But for the moment, he continues to be employed by one of the Manhattan publishing houses.
