"Three Black Cats" in Acrylic - Cornell Creative Arts Center - Virtual Class

In this class students will create original Folk Art paintings in their own hand and unique style. Drawing on inspiration for subject matter, style and color, we will get to know outsider and folk artist, Maude Lewis, working and selling her paintings despite suffering from multiple physical disabilities in her tiny cabin in the rural Canadian countryside. Materials Needed: A medium size canvas or canvas board / poster board / multimedia paper, Acrylic paint, Brushes, Pencil & eraser, Black marker, Water & paper towels
