Thrown Assemblage Master Ceramic Class

Exhibiting artist Kirsten Lyon will be teaching a special master class. In this one day workshop students will use the potters’ wheel and hand building techniques to create various components that can then be assembled to create a whole. The instructor will demonstrate creating closed forms and blow pots, as well as creating multiple parts by throwing off the hump. Students will have the opportunity to create parts that can be assembled later using the techniques learned during this session.
