Trash to Treasure: An Upcycled Art Experience

An innovative art experience created by young Peekskill artists. During the month of July 2015, students from the Peekskill Youth Bureau met with noted author and artist Jasmine Johnson, who helped guide them in a series of writing and art workshops. Johnson encouraged them to use recycled, environmentally conscious and sustainable materials in creating very personal writing and artwork. Trash to Treasure’s artwork is inventive and exceptionally creative.
