What was Hurley's role in the Burning of Kingston? Find out by driving down Hurley Avenue, following the path the colonists took in October 1777 to flee the burning state capital. On Main Street, Hurley, is the house where the state senate sat for one month before going to Albany. Visit our museum across the street to learn how Hurley farmland was "the Breadbasket of the Revolution."The exhibit curators will be on hand to answer your questions. See a short video of previously unpublished vintage images.
