Following the monthly business meeting, guest speaker Francesco Mastalia will show and discuss his latest documentary project titled "Organic” Farmers & Chefs of the Hudson Valley. Driving over 17,000 miles with a large format wooden camera, portable darkroom, and an 1870 brass lens, Francesco photographed over 100 farmers & chefs in the Hudson Valley using the wet plate collodion technique. He will also discuss working on a long-term project and creating work that has meaning.
