Understanding and Responding to Dementia-Related Behavior

As their ability to communicate verbally is lost, people with dementia must use behavior to communicate their needs and feelings. Join us to learn to decode behavioral messages, identify common triggers and learn strategies to help deter behavioral challenges of Alzheimer’s disease. Presented by Patricia Gaston, LMSW Alzheimer's Association. Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served. Please call Marianne or Kaitlin to RSVP: 914-297-8594. This program is supported in part by a grant from the New York State Department of Health.
