Renowned author, historian, community and environmental advocate Vernon Benjamin will present a brand-new program based on his book "The History of the Hudson River Valley: From the Civil War to Modern Times," which places Maurice Hinchey’s tenure as a New York State Assemblyman as a seminal part in the rise of environmentalism in New York.
