Virtual Art Class - Collagraph Printmaking - Cornell Creative Arts Center

In this class students will receive instruction on how to create basic Collagraph printmaking techniques by hand. Common items such as lace, burlap, coins, fabric, gauze, bubble wrap, netting and other textural items are mounted and glued to a thick piece of cardboard, to create a raised surface, that is then used in printmaking. These plates can be re-used. Materials Needed: Cardboard, Hot glue gun & sticks, or a glue stick, Unique textural items (bubble wrap, string, burlap, dried lentils, lace, fabric, burlap, leaves, water bottle caps), Paper plates or palette, Acrylic paint, Multimedia paper, Water, Paper towels, Styrofoam trays
