Virtual Art Class - Mattise Inspired: Paper and Negative Space

This class from Cornell Creative Arts Center uses abstract and geometric shapes as simple examples, from which students will create interesting designs from bright cut paper cut then placed on a black background. Students will learn how to see and create positive and negative space in their art. This is a basic design principle that all artists should learn about! Materials Needed: Assorted colored paper, Scissors, Glue stick, Pencil
