What the Bumblebee Does | Poetry | Hudson Valley | Chronogram Magazine
I have no idea.
He bumbles, I guess.
He is not the industrious
Honeybee, all in a fever for making
Sweet goo or laying the Queen.
He is everyone’s friend
In a fat suit,
Not smart enough
Not to wear stripes.
I like him immediately.
Unlikely icon of Mexican TV,
Player of Flowers,
Keeper of Falstaff’s Smile.
