Why Did the Salamander Cross the Road?

Presented by the Wallkill River Watershed Alliance Boat Brigade, this is the 2nd in a series of lectures on environmental issues. The NYSDEC Hudson River Estuary Program and Cornell University are working together to conserve forests and wetlands in the Hudson Valley. Laura Heady, Conservation and Land Use Coordinator, will give a slide presentation on the importance of forest and wetland habitats and talk about the "Amphibian Migrations and Road Crossings" volunteer project.
