Live musical accompaniment by Cary Brown. King Vidor's atmospheric 1924 film, "Wild Oranges" is set on a remote island and has hints of Shakespeare's, "The Tempest". This film starring Virginia Hall and Frank Mayo was Vidor's 24th film. Over the course of his lifetime Vidor was nominated 5 times for the prestigious Best Director Oscar.
