An illustrated historical romp through some of the paradoxes inherent in how we measure and classify our world. From the pentagram to the mandala and from the birth of logic to the birth of infinity. Laurie Kirby is a Professor of Mathematics at Baruch College (City University of New York) and a Woodstock resident. His alter ego, T.G. Vanini, performs his songs with the Princes of Serendip.
