Woodstock Rock Art Poster Show at Bearsville Theater | Music | Hudson Valley | Chronogram Magazine
On May 14 and 15, the inaugural Woodstock Rock Art and Poster Show will take place at the Bearsville Theater.

The present hype may be on NFTs, but music and graphics lovers’ interest in the tactile art of vintage and modern rock posters and fliers has been rapidly growing since the 1960s heyday of the artwork promoting concerts at venues like the Avalon and Fillmore ballrooms. The two-day WRAPS event is set to be the East Coast’s premier event for poster collectors and will feature a wide selection of art for sale ranging from vintage psychedelic posters and silkscreen prints to modern digital creations and photos. Exhibitors will include well-known veteran artists as well as newcomers.

The weekend will also include live music by Stella Blue’s Band (May 13), Soule Monde (members of the Trey Anastasio Band; May 14), and the Misty Mountain Ramblers (May 15).

The Woodstock Rock Art and Poster Show will be held at the Bearsville Theater on May 14-15. See website for ticket prices, event schedule, and more information.
