World Fish Migration Day

The NYSDEC is hosting a public “eel count” at Upper Landing Park (near the Walkway elevator) in Poughkeepsie as part of “World Fish Migration Day”. Learn about the amazing American eel and help our educators count tiny juvenile eels in the creek. Free parking at the train station. In conjunction with the eel count, the Environmental Cooperative at Vassar Barns is co-sponsoring a clean-up at along the Fall Kill in Poughkeepsie.
