Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation technique. Often also referred to as, "yogic sleep," or, "conscious sleep," this practice is a guided meditation that draws the practitioner into a quiet state of meditative consciousness that is described as between awake and sleeping, bringing forth deep relaxation and connection. The body is still and the mind is settled.
Done lying down with guidance from the instructor, prompting awareness and relaxation of the body and inner unconscious self. Yoga Nidra is a way to bring a complete physical, mental, and emotional ease to your body, mind, and spirit.
