Last month, I blogged about a legal case that had captured the attention of yoga enthusiasts, and a few yoga foes (yes, they exist), nationwide. After a group of parents in California’s Encinitas Union School District complained that Sun Salutations seemed to violate the constitutional separation of church and state, a battle ensued. Parents in favor of the program rose up, and arguments from the plaintiffs gathered heat until the courtroom grew as steamy as a Bikram yoga studio.
Last week, ending a trial that had dragged on much longer than expected, Judge John Meyer concluded that the Encinitas yoga program is not religious in nature and can continue serving the district’s 5,600 students. Although the verdict will likely be repealed, this is as much a victory for yoga as it is for the kids. Perhaps it will pave the way for similar programs to bring positivity and empowerment to children while stimulating them physically and emotionally. Go, Encinitas. Go, yoga. Go, kids!

Personally I think Yoga should be added in School curriculum so that kids can learn Yoga in their early life and can be benefited in later life also.
