(EAST MEREDITH) The West Kortright Centre’s 2021 event season continues on Saturday, June 5, with a live concert by ETHEL, one of America’s most adventurous contemporary string quartets.
This performance of their program Grace starts at 7:30pm. A genre-crossing musical journey of redemption, Grace includes adaptations and arrangements of Ennio Morricone’s score to the 1986 film The Mission, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s Ghorak Dhanda Ho, the theatrical spirit-play Mare Jatralu, Zuni and Hawaiian ritual sun chants, and O Frondens Virga by Hildegard von Bingen.
This is an outdoor show; tickets are sold by the pod of 2-8 people.
