10 years ago, we sowed the seeds of an idea to establish a space where young individuals could congregate, unleash their creativity, and express themselves within a caring and supportive community. We have positively influenced numerous children and their families throughout the past decade. Presently, NECS continues to flourish, and as we cast our gaze toward the future, we envision a community that is vibrant, thriving, self-sustaining and diverse, and where young people are: • Active agents of positive change • Enabled with the social-emotional skills to enact change • Empowered to take on leadership roles in their communities
