Now here’s something ambitious.

Poughkeepsie entrepreneur Roger Risko is developing “Metatron and the Archangels of the Throne,” a rock musical that, according to its website, “centers around the Old Testament Patriarch Enoch, who was rewarded for [his] dedication as scribe and keeper of the ‘book of life’ to become the transfigured Archangel Metatron—‘the Voice and Protector of the Throne.’” The theatrical, rock opera-styled production, says Risko, will utilize the music of Metal Church singer Ronny Munroe and that of additional composer-arrangers.

“The story is classic, but retold and presented through music that delivers the spiritual messages in a powerful yet cohesive score and script,” explains Risko, who is currently soliciting for backers for the production.
