New York Press calls the music of Noveller, aka solo Brooklyn experimental guitarist and filmmaker Sarah Lipstate, “simultaneously soothing and mind-wrecking noise, along with a compositional depth that most loud-for-the-hell-of-it guitar droners never reach.” No wonder she’s been a frequent collaborator with Rhys Chatham, Lee Ranaldo, Glenn Branca, Cold Cave, Parts & Labor, Carla Bozulich, and David Wm.
