2026 Readers’ Choice Awards Results

Welcome to the 2026 Chronogram Readers’ Choice Awards, our annual census of Hudson Valley affection. Over the past several months, readers cast hundreds of thousands of votes across hundreds of categories, weighing in on everything from the best hike and happiest hour to the organizations, artists, advocates, and entrepreneurs who make this region such a singular place to call home.
The results tell a story. Some winners are perennial favorites, institutions that have earned a permanent place in the local imagination. Others are newcomers whose rise reflects the ever-changing character of the Valley itself. Together they form a portrait of a region that continues to evolve while remaining deeply rooted in community.
What makes these awards meaningful isn’t simply who wins. It’s the enthusiasm behind the voting. Every ballot represents a recommendation, a thank-you note, a loyal customer, a devoted fan, or a neighbor eager to spread the word about a place they love. The Readers’ Choice Awards are powered not by judges or critics but by the collective wisdom—and occasional obsessions—of the people who live here.
