October 15. Descended from Malian royalty, singer and guitarist Sidi Toure plays droning โAfrican bluesโ much like those of his better-known namesake, the late Ali Farke Toure. Sidiโs second album, Sahel Folk, newly out on taste-making US indie label Thrill Jockey, is a sublimely heady and hypnotic acoustic session taped live, field recording style, at his sisterโs house with friends over glasses of native tea. Itโs not clear if any such beverages will be on the menu for this date at the Falcon, but donโt let that keep you from whatโs sure to be a magical performance. (Spottiswoode & His Enemies play October 1; Leni Stern strums October 13.) 7pm. Donation requested. Marlboro. (845) 236-7970; www.liveatthefalcon.com.
