Interior of the Senate Garage

Chamber Music on the Hudsonโ€™s 2022 season will commence with a concert at the Senate Garage in Kingston on May 18 at 7:30pm featuring several esteemed dancers and musicians.

Performing at the inaugural event will be Pilobolus dance company members and choreographers Casey Howes and Jacob Warren, who have been working together since meeting in 2017. Frequently accompanying them has been the musical twosome duoJalal (violist Kathryn Lockwood and percussionist Yousif Sheronick), who will do so for the Senate Garage date and whose repertoire โ€œmoves from classical to klezmer, Middle Eastern to jazz, with a skillful confluence that is natural, exploratory, and passionate.โ€ Also appearing will be pianist Inessa Zaretsky, Chamber Music on the Hudsonโ€™s music director. The program features solo piano pieces by Chopin, viola and piano music by Schumann, and viola/percussion duos and trios with piano by Bartok, Kurtag, Sheronick, and Zaretsky.
