One New Year’s Eve, but so many great New Year’s Eve gigs to choose from. What’s an upstate music fan to do? Hey, all I can do is plug the ones I can here. The rest is up to you. So here’s another: everyone’s local reggae faves the Big Takeover at Colony.
Formed in New Paltz in 2007 and fronted by the alluring NeeNee Rushie, the Big Takeover has taken their rocksteady stew of ska and roots reggae all around the continental U.S. and released their fourth album, Silly Girl, this year.
