On
the heels of their 12th studio album, 2024’s
ROCKMAKER, Portland, Oregon-based rockers the Dandy Warhols will bring their psychedelic pop party to Daryl’s House on May 10. (The show is now sold out.)

The
Dandy Warhols were formed in 1994 by singer and guitarist Courtney Taylor-Taylor.
The group first made waves on MTV with the uproarious, taboo video for their 1997
single “Not If You Were the Last Junkie on Earth,” from their major-label
debut, The Dandy Warhols Come Down. Further fame came with 2000 single “Bohemian
Like You” and the 2004 documentary Dig!, about the band’s creative
rivalry with San Francisco outfit the Brian Jonestown Massacre.

“Sometimes
we have a very focused idea of what we want,” Taylor-Taylor told Brooklyn
Vegan
in 2024. “It’s generally what we want somebody else to make but since
they never do, we have to. It has a very specific sound. There aren’t a lot of
heavy guitar records currently coming out that we like, so that was the impetus
for ROCKMAKER.” The album includes guest playing by the Pixies’
Frank Black and Guns ’N Roses’ Slash.

The
Dandy Warhols will perform at Daryl’s House in Pawling on May 10 at 8pm.
Tickets are $60.62-$86.37.
