Every month, our community pages photographer David McIntyre takes more photographs of the featured town or city than we can possibly fit into print. They have a way of distinctly capturing a place at a moment in time. In September, he shot Kingston for the October 2025 issue of Chronogram. Here are the B-roll pics that didn’t make print and yet speak volumes on their own.
“I love the light in Kingston at this time of year—sunrise in the Rondout brings a shimmering stillness where even the empty streets feel alive. Uptown, as the sun sets along Wall Street the upper façades is bathered in warmth while the sheltered sidewalks recede into cool blue shadows—a daily reminder of how light sculpts this town.
