The astrology of 2026 is breathtaking, fiery, and swift. The world thatโs emerging might seem unrecognizable. Changes abound geopolitically, socioculturally, technologically, ecologically, economically, and within every individual. Itโs as if the cosmos wants to give us material examples of how we are connected to every living being, process, and action we take, or have ever taken. The evidence compounds. Twenty twenty-six is an opportunity to see ourselves as extensions of each other, the Earth, and our histories. To say that itโs a crucible for humanity is no exaggeration.ย
The first sign of The Great Reset was Plutoโs entrance into Aquarius in 2023. Aquarius is the sign that symbolizes human connectivity, scientific progress, and radical technological advancement. Plutoโs job in that sign is to expose the underbelly of these things while simultaneously unearthing massive power. Pluto will be working on this for the next 19 years. In July of 2026 another big shift happens in the sign of Aquarius that emphasizes humanitarian and technological issues. The moonโs nodes (of which there are two), now located in Virgo and Pisces will shift to Leo and Aquarius. This means that for the next year-and-a half, weโll have our game-changing eclipses here. Expect the fall of leaders and dwindling emphasis on centralized power and celebrity culture, and deeper yearning for collective efforts and the rise of โeveryday people.โ
The Planet of Dissolving Structures
In contrast to that, Neptune enters the individualistic sign of Aries in January, and Saturn follows suit in February. The planet tasked with building structures (Saturn) is cohabitating with the planet of dissolving structures (Neptune). Navigating this will be an exercise in discernment. It might be experienced as a sense of constant delusion and uncertainty, where what we couldโve sworn was real, dissolves before our very eyes. The fact that itโsย occurring in a sign that has to do with war, personal will, direct action, and new beginnings, bodes for a time of increased desire for pioneering, sovereignty, and personal agency. The two planets conjoin exactly at zero degrees in Aries on February 20. This indicates a turning point that portends the glamorization of fighting against consensus reality, vigilantism, and the self- mythologizing of our own (anti)heroism.
Uranusโ entrance into Gemini in April is the catalyst for major changes in the way we communicate, learn, and travel. Gemini is the sign of exchange, dialogue, and how we move from point A to point B, and Uranus is the great pattern-breaker and rebel. Along with all of the activity in Aquarius, Uranusโ seven-year stay in Gemini doubles down on massive changes to everything that moves through the ether. The most obvious example of this is the pervasiveness of AI. The least obvious might be dealing with the quality of the air we breathe (Aquarius and Gemini are both air signs). Gemini is not only about the information we exchange but also the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide (aka breathing). We can expect disruptive changes in the way ideas and pathogens โgo viral.โ
Here Comes Chiron
The astrology for the summer of 2026 is more material and heartfelt. First, Chiron, a major asteroid that many astrologers use with the same regard as a planet, will leave Aries for Taurus in June. Chiron speaks to the healing process. In Aries, it brought up personal and collective wounding that deals with our right to exist as sovereign individuals, our cultural relationship with masculinity, and our ability to deal with friction and conflict. In June, it moves into Taurus, where it will begin a healing process for our relationship with the natural world, consumerism, and our own bodies. Expect major climate change events, economic instability, changing attitudes about beauty standards, weight loss, and nutrition. Healing is a positive process, but itโs rarely painless.
Jupiter also moves from Cancer into Leo this June, creating a standoff with the aforementioned Pluto. In Leo, Jupiter wants to expand its grandeur, specialness, and authority. The spirit of revolution, along with egos, and power-grabs will inflate dramatically. The upside of Jupiter in Leo is the swelling of courage and passion. Weโll all be fired up about a cause, or goal, and this transit could inspire us to face our fears.
Most of these astrological events were previewed in 2025, when Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune briefly visited their new signs before retrograding. Most of us have a sense of the work that needs to be done to ensure the safety and growth of planet Earth and its inhabitants. 2026 is the year to stop theorizing and take action.
