There’s little planetary movement in November, but that doesn’t translate into an uneventful month. In fact, there could be a lot of consequential shifts happening below the surface. A new moon in “silent-but-deadly” Scorpio on November 9 is one example of the potency and magnetism of the unseen. Set an intention during this new moon, but keep it to yourself.

Circle November 13 on your calendars! Venus comes to a standstill as its retrograde ends in Libra. This coincides with Mercury’s pause in Scorpio. Expect an eerie sense of calm as things slow down enough for us to have an epiphany or revelation. Venus, planet of connection and pleasure, has been retrograde for 40 days and 40 nights. When it stops, we may finally arrive at a decision about how to move forward after a period of deep reflection about our desires. Mercury, the planet ruling cognition and communication, may cough up some hidden intel that changes the game concerning a power dynamic.

On November 22 life gets louder and more mobile as the sun enters the boisterous and adventurous sign of Sagittarius. After all of the concentrated energy of October and early November, we may be ready to burst! The full moon in Gemini on November 24 only amplifies the urge for freedom, movement, and unbridled self-expression. This particular full moon is full of surprises and combativeness as it’s conjoined to Uranus, planet of disruption, and in a tense aspect to Mars, planet of conflict. Beware inflammatory comments, knee-jerk reactions, and sudden changes of course. Yes, it all has to come out sometime, but hitting the pause button before reacting could forestall irrevocable damage. On November 25 Mars enters Virgo, the sign of critical astuteness and practical effort. Let’s roll up our sleeves and focus our minds.
