Launched by Pete and Toshi Seeger as the Clearwater Festival, the rechristened, ecology-and-music-themed family happening features Jesse Welles; Warren Haynes, Grahame Lesh and Daniel Donato; Margo Price; Chaparelle; David Amram; Toshi Reagon; Snacktime; Cimafunk; the Ebony Hillbillies; the Guthrie Family Singers; Tom Chapin and the Chapin Sisters; and Lizzie No. Kids activities, food, and crafts add to the fun.

Bard Spiegeltent

June 26-August 15 at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson

The Spiegeltent is back with music, cabaret, drag, comedy, and more. New York band Underground System kicks it off (June 26), followed by โ€œSNLโ€™sโ€ James Austin Johnson (June 27), the Fretliners (July 2), the Tray Wellington Band (July 3), Martha Redbone (July 10), comic Chanel Ali (July 17), Samora Pinderhughes (July 18), performance artists Adrienne Truscott and Le Gateau Chocolat (July 24), comedian Jacqueline Novak (July 25), the American Patchwork Quartet (July 31), and Justin Vivian Bond (August 7-9), among others.

A newcomer for 2026 is this one-day, high-end blowout on the west bank of the Hudson curated by Rolling Stone magazine. Headlined by hitmaking singer-songwriter Noah Kahan, it also presents Gigi Perez, Sydney Rose, Arcy Drive, Bo Staloch, Bebe Stockwell, Devon Gilfillian, Derby, Hudson Ingram, Calder Allen, and Michaela Anne across two stages. The โ€œfestival experienceโ€ further presents food, beverages, and more.

Bucolic Valley

August 22 at the West Kortright Center in East Meredith

Likewise new to the fest-scape this year is this psychedelic rock outing in Delaware County. Topping the bill are the dynamic Queens-based garage unit the Mystery Lights, who are complimented by L Windows, Kid Bess and the Magic Ring, Gracie Gray, self-described โ€œvaudeville grungeโ€ band Uncleshake, Pleasure Dome, and Dรผรผl Suns. The event will feature a full day of music, colorful psychedelic visuals, and offerings from hand-picked local vendors.

Wilcoโ€™s semiannual Solid Sound festival is sold out, but thereโ€™s still plenty on offer this year at the Berkshires contemporary art center: Laura Downes (July 18), Lucy Dacus (July 23), Bang on a Canโ€™s LOUD Weekend (July 30-August 1), Big Thief (August 8), Roomful of Teeth (August 21), Madison Cunningham (September 25), comedian Jay Jurden (August 29), and others.

Dromfest โ€™26

Although itโ€™s only in its fourth year, Dromedary Recordsโ€™ indie rock convergence is already one of the top such festivals in the Northeastโ€”and itโ€™s bigger, still centered in its throughout the village of Catskill. โ€œThe headliners are Come, Wussy, and Dumptruck,โ€ says Dromedary chief Al Crisafulli. โ€œOther newsworthy bands are Nice Strong Arm, Monsterland, Antietam, Barbara Manning, Hypnolovewheel, Doug GIllard, Sleepyhead, Karen Schoemerโ€™s August band, Moviola, and a few other cool surprises.โ€
