Hudson Hall at the historic Hudson Opera House is celebrating diversity, equity, and inclusion through the power of performance.
The Hudson Jazz Festival: Lift Every Voice, presented on February 10-13 and 17-20, hosts a vibrant lineup of live music, art, film, community events, and spoken word in Hudson Hall’s historic 1855 theater. Join in on this uplifting gathering to amplify local voices and celebrate culture through works that aim to move and empower.
Curated by Cat Henry (formerly with Jazz at Lincoln Center), the festival features a killer line-up of artists (including 2022 GRAMMY nominees), plus spoken word, film, visual art, community events, and a time-ticketed exhibition opening and outdoor laneway opening night party on February 10. “Lift Every Voice” gives a voice to the artists as they respond to transformative events in our nation’s history and look toward a brighter future.
Experience performances from exceptional talents—multi-GRAMMY-nominated singer Jazzmeia Horn; multi-GRAMMY-nominated duo The Baylor Project; rising star vocalist Alexis Morrast; acclaimed vibraphonist Warren Wolf; GRAMMY-nominated saxophonist/composer Jimmy Greene and his quartet; and spoken-word artist, activist and TONY-nominated actor Daniel J. Watts.

Thursday, February 10: Opening Night Exhibition “LOOK AGAIN,” curated by Mike Mosby, followed by an outdoor street party.

Saturday, February 12 at 7pm: Alexis Morrast
Sunday, February 13 at 3pm: Free screening of Let Freedom Sing: How Music Inspired the Civil Rights Movement (2009) Please note: The previously scheduled “Community Sing” has been replaced by a short film performance of Lift Every Voice and Sing featuring Hudson community members led by Anneice Cousin and accompanied by David Sytkowski.
Thursday, February 17 at 7pm: “Armstrong Now! An Evening of Spoken Word & Music” featuring poet, actor, and activist Daniel J. Watts and special guests. Co-presented by the Louis Armstrong House Museum.
Friday, February 18 at 7pm: Warren Wolf Group
Saturday, February 19 at 7pm: Jazzmeia Horn
Sunday, February 20 at 3pm: Jimmy Greene Quartet
