Midget in a Catsuit Reciting Spinoza | Theater | Hudson Valley | Chronogram Magazine
The latest play from The Woodstock Players, written by the prolific Carey Harrison, is set in the late 1930s and 40s and brings together Salvador Dali, Hermann Goering, the 300-year-old philosopher Baruch Spinoza, and God. High-minded Holocaust-related high jinks ensue. (Stand-up tragedian Mikhail Horowitz takes a star turn as Spinoza; Chronogram poetry editor Phillip Levine plays the man upstairs.) “Midget in a Catsuit Reciting Spinoza” will staged June 17–19 and 23–26 at the Byrdcliffe Theater in Woodstock. Show times 8pm on Friday and Saturday, 3pm on Sunday. (845) 901-2893.
