Phish bassist Mike Gordon kicks off a spring tour at the Bearsville Theater on March 13.

Mike Gordon has unveiled a new run of solo tour dates this March that finds the Phish bassist hitting the road with a band in tow. The 13-date spring tour launches March 13 at Bearsville Theater in Woodstock before winding through cities up and down the East Coast and Southeast before wrapping on March 29 in Burlington, Vermont. Tickets go on sale on Friday, January 9 at 10am.

The tour lineup includes John Kimock, Robert Walter, Xavier Lynn, and Bob Wagner, with keyboardist Eli Winderman joining for select shows—a group Gordon debuted last year at a New Orleans performance. The set lists at recent shows from this ensemble have mixed Gordon’s solo work with well-chosen covers and occasional Phish material, giving fans a chance to hear familiar songs in fresh contexts.

Following the Woodstock opener, the March schedule takes Gordon to Asbury Park’s Stone Pony, Philadelphia’s Union Transfer, Asheville’s Orange Peel, and a succession of Southern stops including Charlotte, Nashville, Atlanta, and Charleston. From there the tour moves back north with dates in Washington, DC, Brooklyn, Boston, Portland, and Burlington to close out the run.

This spring jaunt serves as a prelude to a major moment on the Phish calendar: the band’s sold out nine-night engagement at the Sphere in Las Vegas, set for three consecutive weekends from April 16 through May 2. These dates follow Phish’s annual winter and early-year shows and have already been a major talking point among fans.

For followers of Gordon’s work outside the trio of Trey Anastasio, Page McConnell, and Jon Fishman, the March tour promises a mix of exploratory jams and deeper cuts from his solo catalog, bridging the gap between his studio work and the heightened fan anticipation surrounding Phish’s return to one of the most talked-about venues in live music.
