All plucked strings and high harmonies, Brooklyn-based Americana band Roosevelt Dime are a hard-touring, freight-hopping, road-burning music-making machine. Hitting the club and festival circuit year-round, the group gigs “from New York City’s Union Square to the California coast.” On July 10, the quartet is set to bring their hot-hootenanny shenanigans to the Towne Crier.

Just out is the group’s seventh release, Red Shoes, a self-financed, six-song EP that features three band originals and covers of Tom Petty, Bob Marley, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers (?!).

Get a load of the band live in a basement in Rockaway Beach:

Roosevelt Dime will perform at the Towne Crier in Beacon on July 10 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. For more information, call (845) 855-1300 or visit http://www.townecrier.com/.
