His grandson, Ezra, has been closely involved in both the design and building process, bringing a third generation into the business and continuing a legacy of appreciation for fine carpentry.
As with all of Glenn’s Sheds’ offerings, the carports are grounded in integrity of materials: rough-cut, full-dimension white pine framing sourced locally paired with pressure-treated lumber at the base for resilience against moisture and ground contact. “Working with full-dimension lumber is a joy and has such a solid feel,” says Nystrup. “It’s easy to sense the strength of the actual timber—the beauty and quality of the white pine trees that offer so much.”
