In the film A League of Their Own, Tom Hanks’s character famously declares, “There’s no crying in baseball!” This may be your mantra for the month as you relish your competitive spirit coming to the fore. The only problem is there’s a good chance you’ll get blindsided by your own vulnerabilities and uncharacteristic melancholy. There’s much discussion around the topic of repressed anger (which isn’t a problem for you), but we rarely discuss things like repressed receptivity and sensitivity. Go ahead and cry, even as you come out swingin’. Sing Duran Duran’s “Come Undone” into your hairbrush while moving emotions through your body.
