If this past holiday season wasn’t as festive as you hoped, you can make up for it this month. If you’re entertaining in your home, take the first part of the month to clean, organize, and take care of house repairs. If you’re hosting family, communicate clear boundaries with them, as this is a time to initiate new ways of relating that will serve you for years to come. Superficial pleasures will not satisfy this year. Create occasions that are imbued with more meaning, depth, and intimacy. It’s time for new traditions around fun and celebration.
