Weekend Writers' Retreat with A Public Space

This fall, nurture new work and explore technique at a Weekend Writers’ Retreat with A Public Space. This immersive experience will include workshops, literary talks by prizewinning authors J. Mae Barizo, Jai Chakrabarti, Nick Flynn, Elizabeth Gaffney, John Haskell, Mary-Beth Hughes, Marie Howe, Samantha Hunt, Ayana Mathis, Robert Sullivan, and Peter Trachtenberg; and a discussion with publicist Kimberly Burns on the publishing community and how to be the best advocate for your work. Registration for the retreat includes admission to events occurring that weekend during Kaatsbaan’s Annual Festival, which includes performances by artists innovating in choreography, storytelling, and more.
