Central Park designers

The final collaboration of landscape designers Frederick Law Olmstead and Calvert Vaux was the 35-acre Downing Park in Newburgh. The park, which opened in 1897 fell into disrepair over the years, but has now been revitalized and returned to its place as a community meeting spot.
