Sculptor Arlene Shechet teamed up with Hudson Valley Advanced Manufacturing at SUNY New Paltz to create a 3D-printed mold, which later became the artwork itself. Inspired by her own family history, Shechet’s piece addresses the diasporic movement that is “at the core of the Jewish population.”
