In May 2017, Ralph Erenzo sold Tuthilltown Spirits to international Scotch whisky company William Grant & Sons. The company has been sprucing up the facility in Gardiner over the last year, including opening up Char 1788, a farm-to-table restaurant serving American cuisine.
