A 6 Pack of New York State Oktoberfest Beers

When Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria wanted to celebrate his marriage to the Saxon-Hildburghausen Princess Therese in October of 1819, he did what any good Bavarian prince would do—he threw a beer festival. Now known as Oktoberfest, the five-day festival was held in front of the city gates in Munich and was eventually prolonged and moved to September to allow for better weather conditions. Today, Oktoberfest is celebrated all over the United States by drinking copious amounts of beer, sporting lederhosen, and paring domestic craft beers with pretzels, bratwursts and sausages while polka dancing to live music.
